God gives the wise their wisdom
and scholars their knowledge.

Does a Universal Aesthetic of Beauty
prove a Universal Consciousness?

The same aesthetic of beauty is shared by humans with many other species. Is this because there is an aesthetic of beauty in a Universal Consciousness?

Is a competititon in beauty part of God's Great Game of Life in which, along with other attributes, some species compete in the perfection of beauty?

We know the part beauty plays in mate selection among humans and in many other species, such as Birds of Paradise. There are even tiny insects that dance to show off colorful displays for a potential mate, the way we see in Birds of Paradise.

The elaborate and beautiful displays of wild flowers is far beyond what is needed to attract pollenators. Bees will go as readily to glucose in a white saucer and humming birds to a simple feeder. We have never tried to find out if given a choice, will pollenators go to what is most beautiful?

The elaborate and amazing artistic invention in wildflowers consumes nutrients and might not contribute anything additional to their survival and reproduction, unless humans choose to cultivate them.

Might wild flowers have those nagnificent displays in a competition to attract humans to cultivate them and improve their beauty?

Like so much on this planet we have been given to marvel at, there seems no explanation for the amazing variety of beauty unless a Universal Consciousness has given a creative, competitive aesthetic of beauty to us and many other species.
